SpriteKit Games

16 apps

SpriteKit is Apple's 2D game framework, and these games use it for rendering, physics and actions. The Objective-C 2048 is the most starred entry. Stick-Hero-Swift and Flappy Fly-Bird recreate known mobile hits, and Flappy Fly-Bird also uses GameplayKit. Snake Classic is a snake engine that targets all Apple devices, and SKTetris is a partial Tetris built on SpriteKit 2D.

Crosses-n-Ous adds a tic-tac-toe AI with state machines, and FityIt and Color Way are small reflex games. Most projects are short, MIT licensed and written in Swift, which makes them a good size for learning scenes, nodes, physics bodies and touch handling. A few, like Sakura Fly and Potato Game, are also on the App Store.
