Apple TV

Apple TV apps are mostly about watching and playing. VLC plays local and network media, Swiftfin is a native Jellyfin client, and BiliBili is a demo client for the Bilibili video site. Moonlight streams games from a PC, and Provenance runs retro console emulators on the TV.

Smaller entries include iCook TV for Taiwanese cooking videos, Stepik for online courses, RAYN Weather for weather and radar, and DumpertTV. Several regional broadcaster apps, such as the Dutch UitzendingGemist clients and Telemat for German TV, are marked as unmaintained. tvOS uses the focus engine instead of touch, so these projects are useful for seeing how focus, the Siri Remote and Top Shelf content are handled. Many share code with an iOS target.
